Dr. Fuschia M. Sirois
Dr. Sirois is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Windsor and a member of the Applied Social Psychology Graduate program and the Health Research Group. She obtained an Honors BA in Psychology from the University of Ottawa, and her MA and PhD in Social Psychology from Carleton University. She also holds an Honors BSc in Biochemistry/Nutrition from the University of Ottawa, and she completed the first year of an Applied BA in the Food, Nutrition, Consumer and Family Studies program at Ryerson University in Toronto.
Dr. Sirois' research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals such as Health Psychology, Social Science and Medicine, Quality of Life Research, and Rehabilitation Psychology. She has presented over 70 papers at peer-reviewed professional conferences, and is the co-author of the first Canadian editon of Shelley Taylor's Health Psychology textbook.
Dr. Sirois' research is aimed at understanding the role of self-regulation, broadly defined, in health and well-being.
