Photographs of our visit to The Photon Factory

(KEK - Tsukuba, Japan)

In December 1999 and January 2000, we airfreighted our apparatus to Japan to work in collaboration with Akira Yagishita, Kouichi Soejima, Atsunori Danjo and Kazuhiko Okuno, together with Alain Huetz (Orsay, France). During our 2 month stay we used the helical undulator beamline (BL-28A) to investigate circular dichroism in photodouble ionisation of helium. It was quite an untaking to transport our equipment so far and here are a few photographs to capture the event.
