•      Turing anticipates and replies to a variety of objections against the idea that a machine can think.  Today we’ll be looking at

–   the consciousness objection

–   the argument from various disabilities

–   the informality of human behaviour

–   the Lady Lovelace objection, which Turing interprets as

–   the learning objection

–   religious concerns
