Why do you need the South Channel Association?

To receive Timely Information:

Environmental and political changes are affecting your cottage life in unprecedented ways. Knowing about these pressures helps you to have a say in how they are managed and in preserving the qualities of Georgian Bay that will be important to you and to your next generations.

The Association publishes a regular newsletter, your membership means you are part of the Georgian Bay Association and receive GBA Update reports on larger issues, our Annual General Meeting has relevant reports and speakers, and occasional phone campaigns are instituted to keep you informed of breaking issues. A complimentary subscription to Georgian Bay Today is included in your membership as well.

To make your views heard:

The association, through its connection with the Georgian Bay Association and with the Township of the Archipelago has had considerable success representing its members’ interests.

The Association has developed a voice for its members by being present at important meetings, participating in committee work at Council, GBA, and with the Massasauga Park officials.
