Dear Fellow Cottagers,
The 2004 raffle at our annual meeting earned nearly $500
this year, thanks to Dennys Reed whose superb style entices almost every
attendee to participate. We had a great
variety of raffle items from a bat box to a beautiful surprise bag from
Beverly’s.
It is always surprising to find that so many business
proprietors are aware of the concerns of our association and related work of
our association and its members.
I once again encourage you to support those merchants who
have supported us. I was very pleased
when three merchants told me that some cottagers had identified themselves and
thanked them for their contribution to the South Channel Association.
Following is the list of merchants who contributed to our
2004 raffle. Radio Shack – The Town Trading Post – Parry Sound Sewing Center – Toad
Hill Pottery – White Squall – Parry Sound Furniture – The Island Queen Cruise
Line – Home Hardware on Joseph Street – Obdam’s Flowers – The Parry Sound Golf
Club – The Tent – Beverly’s – Parry Sound Books – G. Brunatti and Sons
Some merchants have already promised for next year so get
those dollars ready and join us for our annual meeting. Do I hear $550, Dennys?
Your raffle organizer,
Carol Topping
