Dear Fellow Cottagers,

The raffle at the SCA annual meeting provided fun and funds once again.  As the person who solicited the raffle prizes, I was very fortunate indeed.  With the numerous difficulties affecting the economy, I had the pleasure of many business proprietors responding "yes" with no hesitation or negative comments.

I discovered that many of us are known around town and that proprietors are very appreciative of business from the South Channel.

I strongly encourage you to patronize these supporters.  They are:

It is no small part of the fun of our raffle that Denys Reed hawks, negotiates, sells, arm twists, and adds great cheer to this raffle process.  When you see him, please give him your personal thanks.

                                                Sincerely,

                                                Carol Topping

P. S.  If you are reading this in the winter, you will be reminded of one more trial of 2003, the Northeast Blackout.  Amazing how power is now needed to help us meet deadlines.
