CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

 

The South Channel Cottagers Association needs your help. We have a number of current Executive Members who, after many years of service, are stepping down. We are currently seeking nominations to positions on the executive. Here is your chance to step forward or nominate someone else

 

How can I afford the time? The time commitment can be relatively small. We meet in person 3 times a year, up at the cottage and have usually one teleconference in the winter. Attendance is not mandatory, as long as we can make quorum.

 

Who should be nominated? I know, many of you have taken on roles for the cottagers association in previous years and feel you have already done your part. Maybe it is time for you to look to the 2^nd and 3^rd generations using your cottage. You don’t have to own a cottage to be a member. You just need to have a vested interest in the future of our area.

 

(The secret reason why you should join the executive now):  Keep this just between the two of us but… things are going pretty well currently. Thanks to the great work done by your executive in recent times, there are not a lot of high profile issues taking up a lot of our time. So now would be the perfect time to jump in, learn the ropes and not feel like you are being overwhelmed.
