Ad Hominem--Attack the Person: 
1.the person's character is attacked 
2.the person's life situation or belief are highlighted in a pejorative way 
3.the person's hypocrisy is pointed out as a disqualifier 

Loaded Language: argument is dismissed by including pejorative words

Poisoning the Well: by insults

Do you automatically discount arguments from: Marxists, Conservatives, Nazis, Rush Limbaugh, Stockwell Day, the KKK, the Drug Addict, the High School Dropout, the Used Car Salesman, etc.?

"Everyone except an idiot knows we are not spending enough on education."

"Luddite" is a pejorative term. Most of the above fallacies seem to fit...
