| Dr Tom Carney
was a professor in Communication Studies who spent
his career examining how people studied, learned, and
communicated. He has written and published well over
two dozen books. They range from How to create a
resume, or How to buy your first computer. to
improving writing skills. He has looked at the very
"gifted" and the learning disabled. His
style is a combination of Academic Kung Fu,
Intellectual Karate and University Street Smarts, all
titles of some of his books. Not surprisingly, he has
received a boatload of teaching awards at the
university, Provincial and national level. |
