The performers for the February 2013 concert are:
Jackie Robitaille
Jackie Robitaille is a
singer-songwriter from Windsor. Jackie's music has been described as
soul-folk-jazz and lends itself to phenomenal live performance combining
dissonant and driving piano with empathetic and powerful vocals.
John Rinn
John Rinn writes songs on many topics - love, commitment, environment, disappearing jobs, prejudice, family, and much more, with a little humor tossed in now and then. He has been writing and performing for 30 years, mainly at folk music societies and coffeehouses. The great songwriters who have influenced him include Harry Chapin, Gordon Lightfoot, James Taylor, and the late Stan Rogers. Music is one of the great loves of his life. John lives in southeastern Michigan with his wife of 30 years.
Sara and Ryan met while performing in 2005,
and the rest is musical history. Music defines them not only as individuals but
also as a married couple. Sara, a classically trained vocalist, owner of
Fontaine Music Studio, part-time songwriter and self-trained guitarist has been
performing professionally for the last 15 years. Ryan, a professional bassist,
has toured extensively throughout North America, works as a session musician and
plays with several local ensembles. Sara and Ryan welcomed a little girl, Ava
Grace in 2011 and are currently recording Sara's first studio album, Stories
