Same Latitude As Rome        CD Release Concert    Saturday June 23, 8:00 p.m.

Same Latitude as Rome is pleased to invite everyone to attend the release of their new CD "1812". The CD was recorded last winter at Sharktank Productions, with Mark Plancke, and mixed and mastered by Andy Krehm at Silverbirch Studuios in Toronto. The CD features a suite of 11 original 1812 songs, mostly about events that ocurred in the Essex County area during the war. Peter Boyer wrote several of the songs with help from cowriters Dan Loncke, Besnik Yzeiri, and Marty Lowman. Dan Loncke, especially, a well known local historian and expert on 1812 history, cowrote many of the songs. Dan will be appearing during the CD release, making it a combined history and music event.
