Class Lists

Class Lists can now be downloaded dynamically from the Faculty/Staff SIS Web. The Faculty/Staff SIS Web is the quickest and easiest way of obtaining your electronic class list.

The formatted information includes student number, name, e-mail address, year and program.

Faculty members who would rather not use the web to obtain their electronic class lists can have a disk made by the support staff in their department or Computing Services HelpDesk. Please bring a floppy disk formatted for IBM compatible PC to the HelpDesk and provide the Faculty, Department, Course and Section Numbers. If the person at the HelpDesk is not busy, you might be able to wait for a few minutes and pick up your floppy. If you have any questions, please call the HelpDesk.

TA's requiring a class lists for their courses should see their department's secretary.

The class list can also be sent to your userid on the SGI. Please send e-mail or a note to the HelpDesk with the Faculty, Department, Course and Section numbers and your userid. EG: 0360100 section 1.

The Class Record Program (Dr. Pinto's program to calculate grades)

Virtual Course Kit (A Lotus-Notes based application developed by the Division for Instructional Development that will help U of W instructors deliver course content online and provide tools for electronic communication with their students)

Spread sheet and database programs such as Excel, Paradox, etc.
