For Katie Millette, it was the chance to experience what she calls, “the two most inspiring weeks of my life.”

In 2008, Katie, a fouth year Biological Sciences student, joined 11 other biology students and professors Daniel Mennill and Stéphanie Doucet on a trip to Costa Rica to explore rain forests and neotropical dry forests.

”For me, any solution that I can provide to today’s and tomorrow’s problems was first inspired by the University of Windsor.”
